Mumbai: The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) seized 1,800 kilograms of ganja from a tempo near Vikhroli on the Eastern Express Highway on Friday. The contraband seized by the agency is worth Rs 3.5 crore. The cops nabbed the accused after laying a trap for them.
Two persons were nabbed along with the ganja at around 5 pm on Friday. Allegedly, the accused brought the contraband from Odisha. The main supplier was identified as Sandeep Satpute. Satpute was a resident of Louis Wadi, Thane.

Mumbai: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Mumbai and seized mephedrone, a banned drug, worth Rs 1.10 crore from him, an official said on Wednesday.
Acting on an information, the Mumbai police s anti- narcotics cell laid a trap on Tuesday and apprehended the 44- year-old man in Tardeo area, he said.
