Mumbai police have arrested a Right to Information activist for his "derogatory" remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP leader Kirit Somaiya among others, police said on Saturday.
According to the police official, four men entered the Jankalyan Nagar society at Malwani in suburban Malad on Monday night and started drinking alcohol. After a resident complained to the police control room, constable Kailash More, who was on a patrol in the area, reached the spot and asked the four to stop consuming liquor
Police said the accused asked the doctor to provide screenshots of her bank balance in all her bank accounts for verification, else she would be arrested.
