Trespassing reported off new St Lawrence County Multi-Use Trail

Sunday, June 13, 2021 - 8:05 am CANTON - St. Lawrence County has received reports of individuals trespassing while using the newly re-established Multi-Use Trail. ATV/OHV operators are ignoring the signs where the trail intersects with the Pleasant Lake Road just west of the trooper shed and continuing towards the Dean Road. Once on this section, operators are trespassing on a number of trails they see along that road. Be advised that the trails outside of the designated signage in the area are on private land and only open to MOLPUS land club members. The New York State Department of Environment Conservation and St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office will be stepping up enforcement on the Multi-Use Trail System immediately.
