The Supreme Court had in 2016 directed the CBI to investigate the multi-crore admissions and recruitment Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh. Multiple criminal cases related to the scam have been filed in different parts of MP.

The CBI on Thursday filed a 4,000-page charge-sheet against 60 accused in a case related to the Madhya Pradesh Vyapam scam. Filed before a special court in Gwalior, the document concerns the alleged rigging of Pre-Medical Test (PMT) conducted by MP s state examination board in 2011.
