هفته گرامیداشت یاد ملانصرالدین است. همه ساله در ترکیه از 5 تا 10 جولای به عنوان هفته گرامیداشت یاد نصرالدین هوجا برنامه‌ها و مراسم ویژه‌ای برگزار می‌شود.
ملانصرالدین که در ترکیه از وی با نام نصرالدین هوجا (خواجه نصرالدین) یاد می‌شود، منبع معروف‌ترین لطیفه‌ها و فکاهی‌ها است. بنا بر روایتی، نصرالدین هوجا در آک‌شهیر، شهری در نزدیکی قونیه در ترکیه زندگی می‌کرده است. در این شهر محلی است که با قفلی بزرگ بسته شده و می‌گویند قبر ملا نصرالدین است. این که وی شخصی واقعی بوده یا افسانه‌ای روشن نیست. اما برخی منابع او را واقعی دانسته‌اند.
