This year, due to the record-breaking heatwave, fish kill has come earlier than in past years and residents around Pigeon Lake may be finding more dead fish washing up on the shore.

Residents (including Summer Village residents where agreements have been approved) that choose to pick-up the dead fish are able to take them to the Lakedell and Mulhurst Bay Transfer Stations during regular Transfer Station hours as long as:
All fish must be bagged in plastic and tightly secured.
