Marriage certificates will be given on the spot with the bride and groom s photos on them. The government aims to create a mechanism within two weeks by linking with DBT and Aadhaar. The Social Welfare Minister emphasized the need to strengthen the system to prevent future misuse. An inquiry committee has been formed, and several arrests have been made in connection with the fraud that took place in Ballia district.
