Prospect Heights Park District commissioners are pursuing a land swap and redesign at John Muir Park on Oak Avenue after an offer of an even exchange of 0.62 acre from each side of the park s northern border in conjunction with Lexington Homes proposal to build 69 townhouses on an adjacent site.
Prospect Heights Park District commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday to direct their executive director and attorney to develop an agreement with Lexington Homes LLC to swap land at and adjoining John Muir Park on Oak Avenue.
