The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed that a pick-up van driver lost his life while three others were injured in a road accident in Bauchi, on Saturday, according to Mr Muhammed Bature, Deputy Corps Commander, Operation, Bauchi.
He explained that the driver, who died instantly, lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road to hit two women and a motorcyclist. They were taken to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBU-TH). (NAN)

In recent times, several persons have lost their lives to road accidents in Akungba, Ikare, Oka-Akoko axis, making the students of the university prone to untimely and avoidable deaths.
Aside the involvement of the immediate past Student Union Government (SUG) President and final year Law student of the university, Samuel Tobiloba Adesomoju, popularly known as Sampraise in the ghastly accident, three siblings and one other, Olayemi Agboola, also died in the tragic event.
