PHOTO: FILE LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Friday issued directions to the federal government to recover “illegal profits” from the companies responsible for creating an “artificial” fuel crisis last year. Announcing is verdict on petitions filed against the crisis, the court ordered the government to form a committee for the recovery of illegal profit made by the oil marketing companies (OMCs). LHC Chief Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan had reserved the verdict after hearing the arguments of the parties.
