PETALING JAYA: With the #benderaputih initiative getting tremendous traction from the public on social media, celebrities have also expressed their support for the movement which aims to help those pushed to the brink by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The #benderaputih (white flag) movement, which has been making its rounds on social media since Monday (June 28), aims to help those in dire need of food and essentials.
Many Malaysians have also supported the movement and pledged to help as much as they can for those in need.
Actress Izara Aishah Hisham was among the earliest to express support for the movement when she tweeted on Monday (June 28) urging those who need food to reach out by waving the white flag.
