KUWAIT CITY, May 3: The Governor of the Capital, Sheikh Talal Al- Khaled, said 3 new warnings have been issued to building violations in the suburb of Qibla, bringing the number of such warnings to 137 in the regions of Sharq, Al-Qibla and Bneid Al-Qar so far, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The governor disclosed this in a press statement, on the sidelines of an inspection tour of the East, Al-Qibla and Bneid Al-Qar regions, to follow up on the latest developments in the campaign to eliminate building violations, in the presence of the governorate’s municipality emergency team headed by Zaid Al-Anzi, and a number of officials. Al-Khaled indicated the real estate is being used by some parties to open commercial stores in violation of the laws, pointing out that these parties believe that the concerned authorities will turn a blind eye to these violations.

KUWAIT CITY, May 2: The eight sites devoted to establishing workers’ cities in Jahra and Al Ahmadi are now under the custody of the two specialized committees of the Municipal Council. The head of the Municipal Council, Eng Osama Al-Otaibi said the Kuwait Municipality’s approval of 8 workers’ city sites will come up for discussion in the first upcoming main meeting. The Director-General of the Municipality, Eng. Ahmed Al-Manfouhi, stated the technical committee has approved the allocation of 5 sites for the establishment of residential complexes for expatriate workers, each site with an area of 150,000 square meters, within the Ahmadi Governorate in the Shuaiba Port region, in implementation of the Cabinet’s decision.

KUWAIT CITY, April 22: In conjunction with the issuance of Law No. 3 of 2021 to defer loan payments for six months for those who opt to, the Director-General of the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), Musaed Al-Asousi, announced more than 40,000 people used the ‘My Identity’ facility within two days to request postponement of the payment.
Al-Asousi said the electronic linking of government agencies with My Identity reaps its fruits of this application because it has proved its effectiveness which proves the Authority’s success in finding a digital alternative to the civil ID that is safe and certified and can be used in all government and private agencies. He added that, after one year of issuing the My Identity application, the number of users has reached more than 1.5 million, as it greatly contributes to facilitate the implementation and use of many services provided by government and private institutions.
