Gulffood 2021 will further enhance Pakistan ties with UAE: Consul General Ali

DUBAI, 21st February, 2021 (WAM) – Pakistan’s top diplomat in Dubai has said that Gulffood 2021 will further enhance his country’s ties with the UAE. This event will further enhance bilateral trade between two countries and also provide a platform to connect with buyers from other countries, Ahmed Amjad Ali, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai said after inaugurating Pakistan Pavilion, at the Gulfood 2021 which opened on Sunday at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
A total of 2,500 companies from 85 countries, including sixty from Pakistan are participating in the event.

Islamabad : Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad Police Friday arrested four members of a criminal gang and recovered snatched mobile phones, cash, motorbike and weapons along with ammunition from their possession.
According to a police news release, SSP (Investigation) Ata ur-Rehman constituted a special police team under the supervision of DSP Hakim Khan including inspector Abdul Gahfoor, ASI Muhammad Ishaq along with others for special checking in the areas of Khanna police station.
The team nabbed four members of a criminal gang including its ring leader identified as Muhammad Aamir, Imran alias Mani, Saddam Maqsood and Muhammad Qasim and recovered 11 snatched mobile phones, four 30 bore pistols along with ammunition and motorbike used in crime from their possession.

Islamabad: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Syed Mustafa Tanvir on Wednesday said efforts were afoot to make Islamabad the safest city as it was the foremost priority of the federal capital police.
A massive crackdown had been launched against anti-social elements and drug peddlers to purge this menace from the city, the SSP said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Islamabad Police has arrested 11 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered narcotics and weapons from their possession.
The police stations falling under the jurisdiction of Industrial Area zone conducted special checking following the directions of SP Liaqat Hayat Niazi.
