if it goes to congress and made public this went on during russia. it was all leaked to the new york times, tom. you know, it s interesting. the timing of this, bill, is a little curious in that it appears the president had this conversation the day after mueller testified before congress and so either the president somehow felt empowered to have this conversation or maybe the person who was listening in the on the whistle-blower thought the mueller thing didn t work we need to do something else. the timing is suspicious. we ll learn more. bill: the conversation took place the day after mueller testified? that s what we re hearing. bill: that was july. and so this was something that would have happened right after mueller s testimony as we know. the democrats had high hopes for it. didn t materialize and so it s possible either that the president felt well, he is in the clear but also possible that whoever the whistle-blower is felt now we have to move on to the next thing.
