Derg lad on The Dog Ate My Homework

Ulster Herald Advertisement Posted: 4:11 pm January 22, 2021 By Michael Devlin   Charlie Connolly (9), is a pupil at St Patrick’s Primary School in the Derg and according to the man himself, his trip to BBC Scotland Studios in Glasgow last November was “very fun and good craic”.   Selected via Zoom auditions from thousands of kids all over the UK and Ireland to star as team captain in the show, Charlie was joined by comedians Helen Baeur and David Morgan for the day’s filming.   The Dog Ate My Homework features two teams who face a mischievous mix of tongue-in-cheek comedy, off-the-wall questions and slapstick challenges in a school-based panel show.
