PETALING JAYA: The threats made against the cast and crew of Mentega Terbang will be investigated and action to be taken accordingly, says Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan.
PETALING JAYA: Both death threats to the cast and crew of the controversial film "Mentega Terbang" were made on the same day but at different times, police say.
The video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.
Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zaid Hassan said the incident occurred at a parking lot of a fast-food restaurant in Bandar Baru Bangi at about 10.30pm on Tuesday (March 9).
He said a team of policemen, who were on their crime prevention rounds, spotted the suspicious duo who were in the car with the engine running. One of the policemen approached the vehicle and told the occupants to get down from the vehicle for an inspection. Upon realising the police were unto them, the man rammed the car against the police motorcycle and the policeman.
