Delhi University has announced it has made extra classes mandatory for students who fail their practical exams. As per officials, the students who fail in their practical exams would be required to re-take their classes for a whole semester before they can be cleared. These third-year media students were supposed to start their semester VI exams on April 12, 2023, until MU postponed the test indefinitely just a day before the first paper.
The court said that the petitioner “cannot claim any right based on some information available on the website” which is contrary to the supplementary examination rule in the prospectus.
The even semester exams for academic year 2022-23 for all colleges affiliated to Mumbai University will be held between March and May, 2023. As per university officials, over 2 lakh students are going to appear for 431 university-level exams.
