The first calls to 911 on the night of the Michigan State University shooting reveal the chaotic moments inside Berkey Hall after Anthony McRae shot multiple students on campus.
The calls provide insight into the chaos and panic that ensued that evening, as students and faculty members sought to escape the gunfire and seek shelter.
"I fell to the ground from my seat and tried to act as if I were already dead. As he panned the room with his handgun, I plead for my life and screamed 'Please don’t shoot me,'" he said. "We were met face-to-face with pure evil."
