Isolation ward has been set up at Smt. Hansa Mehta hall for girl students of MS University
Vadodara: M S University has set up isolation wards at three halls at the Halls of Residence (hostel campus) after a few foreign students reported Covid-19 like symptoms on Wednesday.
About three foreign students are being treated as Covid-19 suspects after they showed primary symptoms. They are currently allotted a quarter in Vikram Baug while their RT-PCR reports are awaited.
“We have an SOP (standard operating procedure) through which hostel students are asked to produce RT-PCR negative reports whenever they come to stay,” said MSU’s officiating registrar Dr K M Chudasama.
