Msme New Tariff Norms: The MSME sector, which is billed under the III B tariff category, was demanding the withdrawal of peak-hour consumption charges as well as the reduction in fixed charges. Under the III B category, consumers pay fixed charges from 77/kW for the loads up to 50kW, 153/kW for loads between 51 to 112kW, and 562/kW for loads above 112kW. The energy consumption charges are 7.56 per unit.
