Mumbai News LIVE: One more cop arrested in Ambani bomb scare case
With new coronavirus-induced restrictions coming into force in Maharashtra from Thursday night, the state government said only government personnel and health workers will be allowed to travel by suburban trains in Mumbai. The fresh restrictions under the government s `Break- the-Chain programme came into force at 8 pm on Thursday and will remain effective till 7 am on May 1. Mumbai on Thursday reported 75 deaths due to COVID-19, the highest one-day fatality count since July last year. The city reported 7,410 new cases.Meanwhile, Health Minister Rajesh Tope on Thursday said the state government is even willing to touch the Centre s feet if it helps in getting the required supply of oxygen amid the severe shortage.
