She told the court that the respondent was in the habit of beating her anytime he was drunk and that they had been living apart since 2018 when he battered her and she was hospitalised.
The respondent, Mr Ayodele (42), confirmed that their relationship stopped two years ago because of their constant fighting.
The President of the court, Mrs Olayinka Akomolede, dissolved the marriage, granted the custody of the children to the petitioner, ordered that both parties should be responsible for the education of the children and granted them a right of appeal within 30 days.
He alleged that the respondent wanted to send an SMS to a man but that she mistakenly sent it to him and that she always assaulted him.
The respondent, Oluwakemi (51), denied beating the petitioner and rather accused him of beating her, adding that he was a pathological liar.
She also denied the adultery allegation, explaining that the message she mistakenly sent to him was meant for her patient, she being a nurse.
The President of the court, Mrs Olayinka Akomolede, dissolved the marriage, stating that with available evidence the marriage had gone beyond repair, and gave them a right of appeal within 30 days.

A 42-year-old motorcyclist, Sunday Adeyemi was on Thursday arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrates’ Court over the alleged murder of a yet-to-be-identified lady.
The accused person allegedly committed the offence on February 13, 2021, around 7:30 pm along Ikirun road in Osogbo.
The Police Prosecutor, Inspector Jacob Akintunde told the court that the accused dangerously rode a motorcycle with registration number AAB 701 XY which caused the death of one unknown lady.
He said the accused who had no drivers’ licence was apprehended and handed over to the police before he was charged to court.
The offence committed contravened Section 18 of the RTL Vol. 6 CAP 115 and Section 27 of RTA CAP 548 of the Criminal Code Law of Osun state 2002.
