CAMPAIGNERS laid flowers and held banners demanding justice for a railway worker who died with Covid-19 after allegedly being spat at. Belly Mujinga died on April 5 last year with coronavirus days after she was was reportedly coughed on and spat at by a white customer at London’s Victoria station. Ms Mujinga s family have called for police to disclose the suspect’s name. Vigils for the 47-year-old took place this morning at several railway stations, including in Brighton, on the first anniversary of her death. Connor Moylett, an education officer at Sussex students’ union, joined fellow students, campaigners and trade unionists in holding banners and laying flowers for Mrs Mujinga.

Ms Mujinga s family have called for police to disclose the suspect’s name. Vigils for the 47-year-old took place this morning at several railway stations across England on the first anniversary of her death. British Transport Police (BTP) interviewed a 57-year-old man over the incident but said there was not enough evidence a crime had taken place.
