FRENCH FAR-RIGHT leader Marine Le Pen will go on trial today on charges of breaking hate speech laws by tweeting pictures of Islamic State atrocities, a case she has slammed as a violation of free speech.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated new elected French president Emmanuel Macron said he looked forward to working closely with him to further strengthen the bilateral relations.
