The ex-CIA spy who fatally collided with Harry Dunn while driving on the wrong side of the road near a British RAF base said today that she wants to bring peace to his family after a judge rejected her bid to have a damages claim moved to the UK.
Lawyers for Anne Sacoolas said they would very much like to find a path forward over the car crash in 2019 which saw the British teenager killed outside RAF Croughton in Northamptonshire.
She had applied to dismiss the US case on the grounds it should be heard in Britain, despite her legal team admitting she would not agree to face trial due to a concern she would not receive fair treatment .
