A Co Antrim man is to go on trial later this year for the murder of his 82-year-old grandmother.
Alan Gingles was formally arraigned before the Crown Court yesterday, where he appeared via a video-link from Maghaberry Prison.
The 33-year-old pleaded not guilty to the murder of his grandmother Elizabeth (Betty) Dobbin last March.
The elderly woman was found dead in the home they shared.
Gingles solicitor John Doran told a hearing last April: This was his grandmother and it s a very tragic situation. Mr Gingles spoke of hearing voices and (of having) concerns about the coronavirus. He also spoke of seeing zombies.
