Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the appointment of Rhonda Burggraf to the Marion County Family Court. Burggraf will assume office on Jan. 9, and will be taking the seat formerly held by Robert D. Fragale, who is retiring. Burggraf must run for election in 2024 to retain the seat.
Wyandot County is a LEVEL 3 SNOW EMERGENCY! All roadways are closed to all non-emergency traffic. Driving is prohibited unless it is due to an emergency, essential business or work travel only. Those traveling on closed roadways for other than emergency or essential travel may be subject to arrest.
At 7:00am on December 23, 2022 Sheriff Matt Bayles issued a level two snow advisory for Marion County. Primary and secondary roadways are extremely hazardous due to still falling snow, temps well below freezing and high winds. Many roads are down to one lane and are drifting quickly.
One remarkable teacher touched thousands of lives. Now, one of her students created a scholarship in her memory. The Donna Day Scholarship Fund will help a Marion Technical College student with financial need from Green Camp, where Mrs. Day was born and served throughout her life.
