MAPUTO, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) The Mozambican Defense and Security Forces (FDS) have driven a group of armed men out of the Matemo Island in the offshore district Ibo, northern province of Cabo Delgado, the national radio RM reported on Monday.
According to the report, the information was announced on Sunday by the general commander of the Mozambican police, Bernardino Rafael, on his visit to Matemo.
