Alice s artwork features in virtual gallery

Alice s artwork A PIECE of artwork created by Alice Halstead-Rogers from Embsay is part of an virtual art gallery featuring the work of those living with a serious, or life-limiting illness. It has been created by children’s charity, Rays of Sunshine, with the help of Moyosa Media, and aims to celebrate the bond between the charity and its beneficiaries while at the same time recognising the charity’s patrons and supporters. Each person has depicted their own interpretation of the theme ‘sunshine, happiness and laughter’ and many of the pieces of art were created during group creative workshops with Rays of Sunshine.

Ellesmere Port girl with rare heart condition has uplifting art go on display

AN Ellesmere Port youngster with a rare heart condition has had her uplifting artwork go on display. Rays of Sunshine, a children’s charity that brightens the lives of seriously ill children across the UK by granting their wishes and providing ongoing support, launched a stunning virtual children’s art gallery that displays bespoke artwork created by children who are all living with a serious or life-limiting illness. One of the children displaying their artwork is Alexandra Williams, aged 11. Alexandra suffers from hypoplastic left heart syndrome and has had to endure a pacemaker operation and regular hospital visits. Her wish is currently on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
