Barnsley won 2-0 at home to League Two Tranmere Rovers in the third round of the FA Cup at Oakwell on Sunday.
Michal Helik broke the deadlock just before the hour then Cauley Woodrow made sure of the win in the 94th minute with a penalty after Luke Thomas was fouled.
It was an unspectacular game which saw the League Two visitors compete well but miss key first half chances, while the Reds produced a professional performance.
They will now discover their opponents for the fourth round tomorrow evening on BT Sport 1 from 7.10pm.
Valerien Ismael made three changes from the side that lost at Norwich City in the Championship eight days earlier. Brad Collins replaced Jack Walton in goal, Herbie Kane came in for the departed Matty James and Conor Chaplin returned in place of Luke Thomas. Jordan Williams and Toby Sibbick were on the bench.

Oh dear. Tough moment for Jack Walton as he comes running out of his box and is beaten to it by Windass who takes it round him and taps into the empty net.

A disastrous start for Barnsley and very similar to last season when Cameron McGeehan gifted the Owls an early lead. But Ismael s side showed at Birmingham they can come from behind to win

Barnsley just starting to attack a bit more, they are getting the ball forwards a bit more and getting the likes of Woodrow and Chaplin in possession. But no chances for either side other than the goal

Barnsley secured their sixth win in ten games under Valerien Ismael as they beat Wycombe Wanderers 2-1 at Oakwell on Tuesday evening.
Callum Styles opened the scoring in the first half then both teams were given penalties in a ten-minute second half spell as the visitors levelled then Cauley Woodrow made it 2-1.
The result moves the Reds up to 16th in the Championship, eight points off the top six and ten clear of the bottom three.
The match was not a pretty spectacle but the home side had the better chances and played the more attacking and creative football throughout.
