Infinite: Mark Wahlberg film to skip theaters for Paramount+ debut

INFINITE, will skip theaters and head straight to the Paramount+ streaming service in June.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua, Infinite follows Evan McCauley (Wahlberg), who discovers that his hallucinations are actually visions from past lives. The film also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sophie Cookson, Dylan O Brien, Rupert Friend, and Jason Mantzoukas. Like most films that planned to be released in 2020, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally slated to be released on August 7, 2020, the film will now premiere on Paramount+ in June.
The news of Infinite s move to Paramount+. was revealed during a first-quarter earnings call with ViacomCBS CEO Bob Bakish. Moving Infinite to streaming seems to be part of the plan to expand the Paramount+ feature catalog.
