NIAGARA, Wis. The Niagara School Board has approved the purchase of 35 iPads and storage cart from Apple for $18,864.
The iPads will be used in the school library and can be accessed by classes mainly in the lower grades.
In other recent business, the board heard that the district plans to hold prom at the St. Anthony Church Hall in Niagara.
The event is being spearheaded by teacher Ginger Anderson. She planned to put a deposit on the church with her own money, but then received donations toward it. She said there has been a lot of community support both financially and people offering to volunteer to help.
