major-political parties are structured. you say the gop is ideology based and the democratic party s a coalition of interest groups. i understand what you are saying. explain that more, though. yeah. so, democrat party is what we normally favor a political party as being. it s a group of people who don t agree, you know, interest groups. not all of them saints by any means but teachers unions, lgbtq activists, all the people who have goals. and politicians navigate between and try to satisfy the demands of these different groups and try to build a coalition. the republican party is this monolithic thing. it s not even it s actually just a piece of something. a movement conservatism. all of us look at, use the phrase, political scientists took about it. it s a cohesive, centralized thing. it s held together, or has been held together, largely, by billionaire money. let s let s be frank. it s it s a lot of the

As a radio broadcaster, Rush Limbaugh, who died yesterday, was a great success: He pioneered his genre, attracted millions of listeners for several decades, and grew fantastically wealthy. Many good people were used to his daily company, something unimaginable to critics who heard only the most odious excerpts from his broadcasts, never the more typical segments. If you’re a Limbaugh fan who feels like you’ve lost a friend, my condolences, and best to stop reading here.
As a proponent of conservatism in America, Limbaugh was a failure who in his later years abandoned the project of advancing a positive agenda, culminating in his alignment with the vulgar style and populist anti-leftism of Donald Trump. Character no longer mattered. Budget deficits no longer mattered. Free trade no longer mattered. Nepotism no longer mattered.

An American icon has passed away. Rush Limbaugh departed this mortal coil yesterday for his well-deserved heavenly reward, which I pray will be substantial. I won’t even try to convey the depth of personal and gut-wrenching grief that I’m feeling at this tragic event. Rush Limbaugh was, indeed, one of a kind. If nothing else, men who aspire to be real men should take a page out of the manner in which he faced his impending death, right up until the end. He displayed a fortitude, determination I’ve rarely seen. You can read more of my thoughts regarding how Rush bravely and forthrightly faced up to this ultimate obstacle.
regulatory reforms and what is interesting they brought up john mccain. now the tribe from which i came if you were trying to prove y, u would talk about what an honorable man john mccain was, but you would not bring him into the discussion. if you were a military man or woman, you would do that. but not if you grew up in movement conservatism because john mccain was another part of that. it s very interesting of the person saying i m a republican, i love the tax cuts, i love the regulatory reform and love the judicial nominees but then bringing in john mccain beyond the service aspect of john mccain and what a hero he was.
