South bay to drivers died in a wrongway crash on highway 85 in Mountain View police say the driver of an suv was traveling south. The northbound lanes when the 2 cars crashed. Both drivers died at the scene there were no passengers in the other car highway 85 closed for hours by police and asked investigated. But the road is back open now. In sunnyvale one person is dead after a vehicle fire along highway 85 this happened around 01 00am police say they received a call about a car blocking northbound side of highway 85 at the freeman avenue ramp that had caught on fire. Police shut down all northbound lanes and diverted traffic to evelyn avenue. No word on the person who died in that car fire.
