“It is our largest acquisition to date and is located in a dynamic submarket that we know well,” Balfour managing partner Mark Scott said in a prepared statement. “Our new fund committed to make the acquisition, and we then invited leading Canadian co-investors to join us in the investment. Mountain View is a true value-add opportunity and a great addition to our portfolio. We look forward to executing our value creation strategy.”
Balfour bought the Mountain View properties at 12002 Airport Way from Denver-based Westfield Co. Inc., Broomfield property records show.
Balfour is no stranger to the Boulder Valley commercial real estate market.
