WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - Hy-Vee stores is expanding its COVID-19 antigen testing program to 14 additional locations is Iowa on Monday.
Four stores have already been offering the rapid testing option where patients get results in 1-2 hours after completing the swab test.
Hy-Vee also administers the PCR COVID-19 test which requires 3-5 business days before results are known.
The new rapid antigen testing is being administered through an outdoor, drive-thru process. PCR tests are conducted the same way.
Hy-Vee is currently searching for more than 1,000 pharmacy technicians to assist with testing, and with COVID-19 vaccinations, once they become available.
