But here are the uptotheminute bay area totals. Santa clara county continues to report new cases. 14 in the last day, bringing their total to 189. Six people have died in that county. San francisco updated its total this morning with 19 new cases. The total in San Francisco is 70. Most counties are reporting a handful of new cases. There are at least 474 cases in the region right now. In the south bay, a san jose reserve Police Officer has tested positive for covid19, and now several other officers are selfquarantining out of an abundance of caution.
