Charles âRustyâ E. Larimer
Charles “Rusty” E. Larimer, 76, of Bellefonte, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
Born on July 18, 1944 in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Herbert F. and Mildred (Mann) Larimer. On May 27, 1967 he married the love of his life, Charlotte (Burch) Larimer, who survives at home after sharing nearly 54 years of marriage together. Rusty was a 1962 graduate of Bellefonte High School. After high school, he served in the United States Air Force from July 1962 until he was honorably discharged in in June 1966. Rusty worked for Verizon for 35 years until his retirement. He worked part time in retirement at Triangle Building and Supplies.
Mt. Nittany Medical Center COVID-19 Cases
There are currently 19 Covid positive inpatients at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
Officials say the patients range in age from 34 to 100 with 149 Covid related admissions and an average daily census of 26 Covid positive inpatients for April.
By comparison there was an average daily census Of 18 Covid positive inpatients in March with 124 total Covid related admissions.
Officials say April comes with the third highest average daily census of Covid in-patients and is the third highest month of Covid admissions since the pandemic began.
Michael J. “Mike” Johnson, Sr., 50, of Centre Hall, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on Jan. 4, 1971 in Fitc
