The Department of School Education and Literacy in Jharkhand has issued a new order regarding the class timings in schools across the state in view of the change in weather. Classes from KG to Class VIII will now be held from 7 am to 11:30 am, while classes from Class IX onwards will be held from 7 am to 12 pm. The new timings will be implemented with immediate effect. Private schools will also need to adhere to the guidelines set under the provisions of The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act and management.
