Demoss, Ackerman Charged In Murder, Robbery Of UTC Student Tanner Holman Saturday, February 6, 2021
In the incident, Chattanooga Police responded at 12:42 a.m. to a report of a person shot in the 800 block of East Martin Luther King Boulevard.
The UTC student was dead at the scene.
Demoss was taken into custody in Cleveland, Tn., through the collaborative efforts of the Cleveland Police Department, the Chattanooga Police Department Homicide Unit, the Chattanooga Police Department Fugitive Unit and the U.S. Marshals.
Ackerman was taken into custody in Lake County, Fla., through the collaborative efforts of the Lake County Sheriff s Department and the Mount Dora Police Department. He will be extradited back to Chattanooga.

APOPKA, Fla. – A bank robbery suspect turned himself in two hours after the crime, according to the Apopka Police Department.
Investigators said 32-year-old Levon Devon Duncan is facing the robbery charge after turn himself into the Mount Dora Police Department.
Duncan was booked into the Lake County Jail.

MOUNT DORA, Fla. – The Mount Dora Police Department released surveillance video of a suspect in a double murder case in central Florida.
A $10,000 reward is being offered for tips leading to the arrest of a suspect seen in store surveillance video.
Police released the surveillance video Wednesday in hopes someone will recognize the voice or mannerisms of the suspect.
The suspect went into the T & N Market in Mount Dora just before 9 p.m. on Nov. 30, shot and killed two store owners while, reportedly, trying to rob the store, according to the Mount Dora Police Department.

You can hear the voice of the T&N Marketplace killer in a surveillance video released by the Mount Dora Police Department on Tuesday.
Police are hoping someone may recognize the voice and help them identify the suspect.
Interim Police Chief Brett Meade says the video is difficult to watch because you can hear one of the two slain store owners shortly before her death. But he hopes someone will recognize the shooter’s mannerisms.
