The incident sparked a brief amber alert last night for 15month old taratino carter. The baby was sitting in a car seat inside a kia soul at a gas station near car running while she ran in the store. And that is when the car was stolen. A citizen called police after spotting the car near 39th and Silver Spring drive. Shortly after, the car and child were found safe a couple of blocks away. The amber alert really helped us out in this situation.
