Stormont Dundas South Glengarry MPP Jim McDonell released information on the MTO’s plans Wednesday, which includes a list of 12 projects in the area, with a total value between $191 million and $540 million.

Two of the projects are already underway, one now being infamous after a contractor’s temporary sign misspelled Cornwall, a 13-kilometre reconstruction of Highway 417 from Casselman to east of Highway 138 that includes replacing and rehabilitating culverts. The work started in late-spring and is expected to be done in 2022.
