Weston Williamson unveils design for HS2 viaducts

Weston Williamson has unveiled designs for two HS2 viaducts and an orchard near the village of Water Orton, in Warwickshire
The viaducts are larger than the Moxon-designed viaducts unveiled by HS2 for locations further south on the line, in Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.

The viaducts will be built at Delta Junction, a triangular section of the line where the new railway curves west towards Birmingham and, ultimately, Crewe, while the existing main line heads north.
The structures are needed to carry the railway across a network of existing motorways, roads and footpaths. The area between the viaducts, previously home to a rugby club, will be relandscaped.
