A DIGITAL concert was released by the Barn Theatre in Cirencester on Monday. The Secret Society of Leading Ladies, running until March 7 will allow viewers to control the set list. It will feature female musical theatre characters from a range of eras and genres, including princesses and dreamers to villains and divas. Ryan Carter, creative director & concept creator, said: “In developing this project, we’re allowing audiences to ‘choose their players’ and ultimately build their own show. “It’s a form of digital theatre that the musical theatre sector hasn’t seen before, which is something that 10 months into the pandemic is getting harder to achieve.

I once turned down an invitation to something called Secret Cinema with the riposte, “
If it’s supposed to be a secret, why you are telling me about it?”

- Dionne Figgins of A Wonderful World, Smokey Joe s Cafe, Motown The Musical and Dance Theatre of Harlem

Iâm usually up at 7 AM getting my daughter ready for schoolâi.e., making breakfast and lunch for her, organizing her school work, etc. Once Iâve dropped her off, the hustle begins. LOL. Iâm working on developing scripts, in the recording studio recording demos for my projects, designing show decks for my shows for investors, and preparing music for concerts that Iâm in. I then pick up my daughter from school and drop her off at any number of activities that sheâs usually in throughout the weekâi.e., gymnastics, her tap, hip hop, and/or ballet classes, and piano. While she is in these classes, Iâm usually home teaching privately (voice or piano) or my public speaking and leadership classes or my Broadway musicals, and more. On my downtime Iâm either having family time or attending a board meeting for ei
