Mount Pleasant, IA- The Henry County Sheriff's Office says that one person was injured Monday, April 17th in a motorcycle crash. According to a news release, on April 17th at about 4:05 PM, the Henry County Sheriff's Office was notified of a single-vehicle accident with injury in the 3100 grid of Lexington Avenue in the rural Mount Pleasant area. Upon arrival and investigation, a motorcycle was found to have lost control on the roadway from operator-related factors. The driver, 52-year-old Jeremy Bitting of Mount Pleasant sustained severe injuries and was medically transported from the scene. Bitting was later cited for Failure to Maintain Control and Motorcycle License Violations.
