MotoArt Rescues the First Super Guppy Aircraft From Scrapping and Creates a Special Edition PlaneTag Collectible
MotoArt saved the very first Super Guppy Turbine (SGT) before it was to be scrapped and destroyed, and has created a special edition Super Guppy Turbine PlaneTag. The SGT was a very large cargo aircraft used for transporting outsized components, including Saturn rockets for NASA. The first SGT, serial number 0001 and tail number F-BTGV (formerly N211AS) flew for Airbus Industrie transporting aircraft components.
