Motorola had been long rumoured to be working on a smartwatch. The Lenovo-owned company had exited the smartwatch market due to lack of customer base, but now it seems to be making a comeback. The 3rd generation of the most successful smartwatch by Motorola- the Moto 360 was spotted on Flipkart ahead of launch. This also hints that the company could launch the smartwatch in India soon.
New Moto watch image shows Snapdragon Wear 4100 usage

Back in June, Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon Wear 4100 chipset for smartwatches, and it was the first meaningful improvement to Wear OS chipsets since Android Wear was introduced in 2014. It uses Cortex-A53 cores, a big upgrade over the Cortex-A7 cores that were used in the Snapdragon 400, Snapdragon Wear 2100, and Snapdragon Wear 3100.
But even thought it s such an improvement, there s only been one smartwatch that actually uses it, the Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3. That should be changing though, as one Redditor (via 9to5Google) has spotted a Moto-branded watch with a Snapdragon Wear 4100.
Three Motorola Watches to be launched this year by July
Three new Moto-branded Wear OS manufactured by one of Motorola’s partners – eBuyNow, is expected to launch this year. In fact, the Moto 360, which was launched back in early 2020, was manufactured by the same Canadian company.
In a presentation showing off Motorola’s product roadmap this year, two new smartwatches – Moto G smartwatch scheduled for June and Moto Watch & One scheduled for July launch, which is a month later.
Notably, the Moto G, which resembles Moto 360, is expected to be either mid-range or low-end device. As we can see from the image, there are two buttons on the right side, and it lacks a rotating crown.
