Mother raises concerns after child falls asleep on bus, wakes up far from elementary school

An Evangeline Parish mother is concerned for her son s safety after she says he woke up on his bus Thursday morning but was not at his elementary school.
According to the Shawna Fontenot, her child was supposed to be dropped off in Chataignier, instead he found himself in Ville Platte.
This wasn t the first time the boy s stop was missed.
Fontenot says she was shocked Thursday evening when her 8 year old son Achilles Neal came home to tell her he was late to school after falling asleep on the bus.
