Preparations afoot to observe Shaheed Dibash in Rangpur division

RANGPUR, Feb 19, 2021 (BSS) – All necessary preparations have been completed to observe the “Shaheed Dibash and International Mother Language Day-2021” paying rich tribute to the Language Movement Martyrs in Rangpur division on Sunday.
Officials in the district administrations said the day will be observed in a befitting manner with limited scale programmes across the division abiding by the health directives in the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
In line with the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the programmes taken by different organisations will also present the special contribution of Bangabandhu to the language movement on the day.

RANGPUR, Jan 27, 2021 (BSS) – A project titled ‘Nutrition in Secondary Cities’ has been taken to ensure rich nutrition for Rangpur city people by eliminating malnourishment of urban infants, children, adolescents and women.
The information was disclosed at a consultation workshop on ‘Nutrition and Food Systems of Rangpur city’ held at Begum Rokeya auditorium of RDRS Bangladesh in the city on Tuesday.
Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture Bangladesh in cooperation with RDRS Bangladesh organised the event under financial assistance of Swiss Agency for Development (SDC).
