To the editor:
Four years ago, our politics took a dangerous turn when Donald Trump called his opponent a criminal, referred to her as Crooked Hillary and encouraged chants of Lock her up at his rallies. He also suggested he would order investigations of her if he were elected.
Four years later, he called his opponent a criminal and said Joe Biden shouldn t be allowed to run for president.
As president, Trump incessantly accused his political opponents of committing crimes, whether unmasking, spying on my campaign or other forms of corruption. But none of these allegations was ever supported by evidence or even resulted in criminal charges, let alone convictions.
